How The Butterfly Project Works

First you need to draw a butterfly on the place where you self harm

You can add a name of someone you care about or who wants you to stop if that will help as well

You may not wash off the butterfly intentionally, it must fade away naturally

If you do not self-harm while the butterfly is on your body, then it flies away and has lived a full, happy life

If you do self-harm, you wash off the butterfly and start over.

This can also be for those who know someone who self-harms. It shows support and that you care.

Ideas for butterflies

You can draw the butterflies on with markers or even use temporary tattoos!
